This pink and white castle cake was my first cake that went beyond the basic one layer cakes and my gift to my little girl. Fortunately, the whole “project” came together pretty well – it was a massive hit for my daughter’s 6th birthday party. Perfect for a sweet little princess having a Princess Themed party! A cake like this is definitely worth it – just keep in mind that you need space in the fridge especially if the party is in June and you live in Greece ;-))). The idea came after reading the “Princess Castle Cake Tutorial DIY”. First of all, I bought the Wilton Romantic Cake Set. I decided to use royal icing in pink, fuchsia, light green colors, to decorate all plastic parts of the Wilton set, just as Cristie describes (see above link). All flowers are made from sugar-paste – I involved my daughter in that part of the decoration. This was a dream cake for my little “princess”, one she will remember for the rest of her life! P.S. Our invitations! Little princess decided the text decoration! Our party buffet – with Greek traditional food as well! My mother did all these delicious things!
